Project Director – Clinical Trials (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead global oncology clinical trials. The role is fully remote and supports a portfolio of large‑scale studies, acting as the primary liaison between the client and our internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and participating in proposals and presentations.
• Oversee all phases of clinical trial execution, ensuring consistency across assigned portfolios.
• Provide direction to project managers on study set‑up, planning, procurement, execution, and close‑out.
• Manage study budgets, identify out‑of‑scope activities early, and drive change orders.
• Monitor financial health, billable hours, and accurate forecasting to meet business objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, risk mitigation, and change‑management strategies.
• Ensure quality management, eTMF inspection readiness, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Track metrics to monitor trial progress and prepare status updates for clients and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑service Project Director in oncology clinical trials.
• Consultative approach with strong client‑facing skills.
• Ability to support senior leadership and drive continuous process improvement.
• Expertise in strategic planning, risk and change management, and quality assurance.

Required skills

• eTMF (electronic Trial Master File) systems
