React Native Mobile Developer (Contractor)

About the role

C4Media is seeking a hands‑on React Native Mobile Developer to join its fully remote, global team. You will take features from requirements through implementation, focusing on data flow, performance, edge cases, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Build complete mobile features in React Native, handling API integration, UI rendering, and state management.
• Consume REST APIs, manage async data flows, caching, and error handling.
• Ensure consistent behavior across iOS and Android platforms.
• Handle loading states, retries, offline scenarios, and other production‑ready concerns.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to implement requirements accurately.
• Maintain and improve the codebase, refactoring when needed and controlling technical debt.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and solid TypeScript skills.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and using Redux for state management.
• Good understanding of mobile performance considerations and platform differences between iOS and Android.
• Track record of shipping apps to production and an English‑language portfolio of work.
