Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join HYCU’s Finance team in Belgrade. The role supports a fast‑scaling SaaS business, working closely with global stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end vendor management, including selection, contract negotiation, invoice review and issue resolution.
• Manage daily treasury activities such as monitoring cash balances, executing wire transfers and forecasting cash needs.
• Develop and enforce travel expense policies, review employee expense reports and provide guidance on reimbursement processes.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, and post journal entries, adjustments and accruals.
• Review and supervise accounting work prepared by outsourced firms to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong understanding of vendor management, treasury operations, travel expense administration and general‑ledger maintenance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
