Senior Accounts Receivable Associate – Shared Services

About the role

Magna is looking for a motivated Senior Accounts Receivable Associate to join its new Shared Service Center. You will help optimise global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processing across several European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and monitor incoming payments promptly.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Sales, Controlling, HR, IT and other internal departments.
• Document and standardise AR procedures.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AR transactions.

Required profile

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting or business administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset and good communication skills.
• Ability to mentor less experienced colleagues and coordinate task distribution.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (and MS Office).
