Senior Backend Python Developer – AI‑Native (Remote)

About the role

Novakid is looking for a senior backend developer to help build the AI‑driven engine behind its language‑learning platform for kids. You will work remotely, collaborating with a small, high‑impact team to design scalable services and integrate cutting‑edge large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Implement data storage and caching with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Integrate modern LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and AI coding agents into product features.
• Orchestrate multi‑step AI‑assisted development workflows and ensure architectural integrity.
• Work with micro‑service architecture on the AWS serverless stack.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python developer (Python 3.8+).
• Strong understanding of LLMs and hands‑on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, Amp).
• Fluent English communication skills.
