Senior DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Smartcat is building the future of work with Agentic AI, enabling hybrid human‑AI teams for global enterprises. We are looking for a senior leader to manage our DevOps and Infrastructure teams, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of our staging and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi‑regional DevOps and SRE team of top performers.
• Define, enforce, and continuously improve SRE and DevOps best practices.
• Maintain 99.9% uptime for CI/CD and staging servers and 99.99% product availability.
• Accelerate release cycles by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with neighboring teams, establishing clear agreements and acting as the primary interface.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams in fast‑growing multinational IT environments.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on DevOps/SRE experience with high‑RPS distributed systems.
• Data‑driven decision making with concrete metrics.
• Strong relationship‑building and cross‑functional communication skills.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Experience with high‑throughput, distributed product architectures.
