Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Platform

About the role

CODETIQ is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work across enterprise projects in telecommunications, energy and renewable energy. You will move between different AWS‑based production environments, modernise systems, and improve automation, observability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and improve production cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Work with containerised workloads, including Kubernetes where relevant.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting and overall production readiness.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and complex infrastructure problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, scalability and cloud cost efficiency.
• Participate in architecture discussions with software and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or SRE.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Solid Linux administration and Bash scripting skills.
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and communicate technical trade‑offs.
• Professional proficiency in English.
