Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Adapty’s platform processes billions of dollars in subscription revenue each year, and its core infrastructure currently relies heavily on a single engineer. This role will take full ownership of the Proxmox and Ceph platform, making it fully described in code, cost‑effective, and resilient at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Proxmox and Ceph platform end‑to‑end, including capacity planning, upgrades, performance tuning and incident response.
• Run infrastructure across OVH, Hetzner and bare‑metal servers while integrating workloads in AWS and GCP.
• Drive resource rightsizing to eliminate over‑provisioning and demonstrate cost savings.
• Lead the migration of development workloads into a dedicated cluster without production downtime.
• Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD and GitLab CI, ensuring no manual changes in production.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, perform root‑cause analysis and create runbooks.
• Support the data layer technologies such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse and Aerospike.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience with infrastructure and physical hardware, not only managed cloud.
• 5+ years operating Kubernetes and cloud platforms in production.
• Hands‑on experience with bare‑metal providers (OVH, Hetzner) and public clouds (AWS, GCP).
• Strong FinOps mindset with proven ability to quantify cost impact.
• Proactive communication style, raising risks early.
