Senior Frontend Engineer for Cloud SaaS Platform

About the role

Azul is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve the web experience of the Azul Intelligence Cloud SaaS platform. The role is fully remote‑friendly and works with a distributed team of engineers, product managers, designers, and QA specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, maintainable features in React and TypeScript.
• Own end‑to‑end functionality across the UI, Node.js/Fastify BFF, and async jobs that feed the UI.
• Integrate the frontend with Java‑based backend services and help shape API contracts.
• Design and implement async processing pipelines using BullMQ, ensuring idempotent, retry‑safe jobs.
• Build data‑heavy reporting views with virtualization, pagination, and backend aggregation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on frontend development experience, primarily with React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to own features end‑to‑end in production, including API design and performance optimisation.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
