Senior Frontend Software Engineer – React & TypeScript

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to lead the development of user‑facing features for our Next Best Action platform. You will work with React and TypeScript to create high‑quality, maintainable interfaces that translate complex business logic into intuitive user experiences. The role involves close collaboration with clients, delivery partners and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production features using React, TypeScript, Redux and Tailwind CSS.
• Translate decisioning, pricing, eligibility and content requirements into clear user workflows.
• Own the full lifecycle of frontend work—from discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, release and production support.
• Develop data‑heavy interfaces such as complex forms, tables, filters, query builders, visualisations and drag‑and‑drop editors.
• Integrate versioned REST APIs, handling caching, loading states, validation and error handling.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright and Cucumber.
• Use feature flags and telemetry to release safely and diagnose issues in production.
• Improve performance, resilience, maintainability and reusable interaction patterns.
• Review code, mentor colleagues and uphold engineering standards.
• Communicate frontend trade‑offs to client stakeholders and adapt scope while preserving usability and accessibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional IT experience, including at least 4 years focused on React development.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade React applications with TypeScript.
• Experience building complex, data‑rich business applications rather than simple marketing sites.
• Strong understanding of component design, hooks, routing, state management and REST API integration.
• Demonstrated ability to own substantial frontend work from design through production.
