Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain both front‑end and back‑end components of Deel’s global payroll and HR platform, collaborating with Product, Design, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express.
• Design and implement server‑side APIs, data models, and business logic, primarily with Express.
• Create client‑side function‑based React components, hooks, stories, and tests.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with PostgreSQL.
• Build reusable, modular components to ensure code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high‑quality applications.
• Stay updated on emerging web development trends and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of full‑stack experience with a focus on TypeScript development.
