Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Senior Fund Accountant will join Apex Group’s global fund administration team, supporting a range of private‑equity and investment funds. You will be responsible for accurate daily accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input daily journal entries and monitor cash activity.
• Produce fund financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate year‑end audit processes and respond to auditor queries.
• Allocate fund capital activity and maintain partner capital accounts.
• Track portfolio company transactions, calculate investment returns, and generate performance reports.
• Handle investor and investment requests, providing timely data and analysis.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and support client‑specific projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within fund administration or private‑equity.
• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated team player capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
