Senior International Accountant – Novi Sad

About the role

Fivetran is looking for a Senior International Accountant to join its fast‑growing accounting team in Novi Sad. The role will focus on the Serbian legal entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the month‑end close in a dynamic, data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procedures that guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial information for the Serbian entity.
• Prepare, post, and monitor journal entries in NetSuite, and review postings from other accounting functions.
• Perform hands‑on month‑end close activities, meet all deadlines, and proactively review account balances before closing.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and related reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, tax, and operations teams to resolve accounting issues.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with accounting systems, specifically NetSuite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a rapidly changing environment.
• Senior‑level experience in international accounting.
