Senior MERN Developer (React.js + Node.js)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer with deep expertise in React.js and Node.js to design, scale, and maintain high‑throughput web applications for a fast‑growing client. The position is fully remote, operating within the CET time zone (±3 hours). You will own both front‑end interfaces and back‑end micro‑services, delivering secure and responsive digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end features, from database schema to pixel‑perfect React UI.
• Build secure, high‑concurrency micro‑services and integrate third‑party APIs, webhooks, and real‑time communication channels.
• Audit, profile, and optimise application performance, reducing bundle sizes and improving database query efficiency.
• Lead architectural discussions, write modular TypeScript code, enforce testing standards, and conduct peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerise applications, set up CI/CD pipelines, and maintain monitoring tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with the MERN stack.
• Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Proven ability to architect scalable RESTful APIs, WebSockets or GraphQL services.
• Experience with test‑driven development using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
