Senior Node.js Developer – Remote (Serbia)

About the role

Flosum is seeking a senior‑level Node.js engineer to design and deliver high‑performance backend services for its enterprise‑grade SaaS platform built on Salesforce. The role is remote and reports directly to engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure Node.js micro‑services and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Build high‑performance APIs and real‑time data processing pipelines for Fortune 500 customers.
• Contribute to front‑end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and developer productivity tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production Node.js development experience.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and Node.js runtime internals.
• Strong ownership mindset, ability to ship quality code under pressure, and direct communication style.
• Commitment to a long‑term, full‑time role.

Required skills

• Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT.
• SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, data modeling.
• Git workflows, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Vue.js (Vue 3 Composition API) and front‑end state management.
• Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, API integrations) – highly preferred.
