Senior Platform Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join The Mill Adventure’s fast‑moving iGaming platform team. You will develop and maintain core platform components, customer‑facing features and compliance systems while working in a serverless, event‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the gaming platform, including new features, integrations with payment and game providers, and market‑specific adaptations.
• Review, debug and improve code with a focus on quality, data integrity and edge‑case handling.
• Participate in software design and architecture discussions, taking ownership of changes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and partners, using AI‑assisted tools to streamline workflows.
• Design and execute automated unit and integration tests, working closely with QA to ensure coverage.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, S3 and Quicksight.
• Proven senior‑level experience in back‑end development and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to work independently, manage own tasks and communicate effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on investigating unclear requirements and ensuring data consistency.
