Senior Project Associate, Clinical Trials (RWLP)

About the role

Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Project Associate for its RWLP function, based in Belgrade with a hybrid arrangement. The role drives the planning and execution of parts of clinical trials in partnership with the Project Lead, keeping projects on time and within budget. It suits someone who wants to work independently with minimal oversight while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the planning and execution of elements of clinical trials with the Project Lead, ensuring projects meet strict timelines and stay within budget.
• Act as subject matter expert on project management tools and systems.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for efficient project delivery.
• Maintain and distribute study-specific financial reports and contribute to the study's financial health using financial processes and systems.
• Analyse project performance to support short- and long-term goals.
• Document project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, and lead communication of project status and changes.
• Document and escalate risks and issues, and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain project management tools, systems and methodologies.
• Lead quality assurance activities, including audit and internal review preparation, documentation and follow-up on actionable issues.
• Oversee tasks and provide mentorship to junior team members.
