Senior Project Manager – Early Development Services

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Early Development Services team in the EMEA region. The role requires Phase I experience and will serve as the primary sponsor contact, overseeing project delivery across quality, time and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization, ensuring clear communication and adherence to escalation pathways.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to deliver on schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Manage financial stewardship, including contract understanding, budget alignment and out‑of‑scope activity control.
• Identify and resolve risks and issues, driving RBQM/RESOLVE processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH‑GCP, regulatory and project‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas, clinical development guidelines and project management principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using clinical trial management systems such as CTMS, Preclarus and Clarity.
