Senior QMS Engineer – Quality Management System

About the role

As a Senior QMS Engineer you will be a key member of the Quality team, responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System across the plant and broader business units. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers and lead plants to ensure compliance and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain QMS documentation and databases, ensuring alignment with company and industry standards.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits (IATF 16949, customer audits) and follow‑up corrective actions.
• Prepare, validate and present monthly, quarterly and annual quality KPI reports for plant, BU, division and group management.
• Monitor quality targets, track improvement measures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in organizing Corporate Quality Meetings, Customer Quality Reviews and Supplier Quality Reviews.
• Conduct process and product audits according to applicable standards.
• Deliver basic training on quality system processes, certification awareness, procedures and work instructions.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional experience in Quality Management Systems or quality reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001; knowledge of VDA 6.3 and CQI audits is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting, data validation and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, fluent English.
