Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Fivetran is seeking a senior engineer to join its Site Reliability Engineering team. You will work closely with product, engineering, support and sales teams to ensure the reliability of the Fivetran Data Platform. The role focuses on performance, availability, and incident response for a large‑scale SaaS infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the availability, capacity, and throughput of production infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability best practices into product roadmaps and automate scalable deployments.
• Lead incident response, prioritize critical bugs, and drive root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Implement automation scripts for artifact deployment and address infrastructure vulnerabilities with the security team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building and operating SaaS platforms at scale.
• Deep expertise in managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong background in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, ArgoCD, and Buildkite.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and cloud networking concepts.
