Senior Solutions Architect – Python & Generative AI

About the role

Provectus is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep Python and Generative AI expertise to work directly inside client teams. You will be responsible for turning AI concepts into production‑ready systems while acting as the primary technical liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with client teams for the duration of the engagement, collaborating on‑site with end users.
• Gather real‑world workflow insights before designing architecture.
• Develop clean, production‑grade Python code for AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
• Design, build, and optimise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI solutions in production.
• Own architectural decisions (microservices vs monolith, sync vs event‑driven, SQL vs NoSQL) and guide technical direction from discovery to delivery.
• Present architecture to clients, defend trade‑offs, and manage scope against timelines and budgets.
• Support presales activities, including discovery calls, technical proposals, and demos.
• Lead architecture reviews, produce design documentation, and contribute to internal best‑practice libraries.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
• Hands‑on experience with live RAG and LLM‑based agentic workflows.
• Strong backend development background with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Recent, practical experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR) or comparable GCP services.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or AWS Bedrock.
• Deep Python proficiency, including OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance optimisation.
