Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Platform)

About the role

Altium 365 is building a cloud‑native platform that transforms electronics design. As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer you will join the Platform team to create and evolve complex cloud applications that enable engineers to collaborate more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new cloud‑native applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Leverage AI/ML to enhance search capabilities across the platform.
• Perform large‑scale data processing, data modelling and intent‑based API design.
• Develop both stateful and stateless services using relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Contribute to a micro‑services ecosystem of 100+ services on AWS.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Deep expertise in areas such as identity/authentication, access or license management, message queues, distributed caches, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, relational database design, multi‑tenancy, or Rings Protection Model.
• Proven track record building and operating high‑load distributed systems, including performance profiling, load and stress testing.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and drive architectural decisions.
• Experience defining engineering standards, best practices and technical governance at a platform level.
