Software Team Manager – Lead Engineering Team

About the role

We are looking for a Software Team Manager to lead a group of engineers developing web‑based applications that collect, analyse and visualise data from IoT devices monitoring the electrical grid. The role combines people management, technical leadership and cross‑functional collaboration in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan resources, manage performance and conduct people‑management activities for the software team.
• Drive talent retention, recruitment and training initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, promote standardisation and foster innovation across the stack.
• Facilitate cross‑functional decision‑making and collaboration with Project Management and Product Owners.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑management skills.
• Broad experience with modern web and cloud‑native technologies, frameworks and platforms.
• Proven background building SaaS applications and general software development.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Python.NET, Typescript, Bash, PowerShell.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog or New Relic.
