About the role

The PCBA Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the availability and proper functioning of production equipment used in printed circuit board assembly. The role involves preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance according to defined procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines, production tools, fixtures and inventory.
• Service hydraulic, pneumatic systems and electrical installations.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance based on instructions.
• Operate and adjust laser engraving machines, solder‑paste dispensing units, automatic inspection stations, SMT/THT placement equipment, conveyor systems and automated cutting, sorting and packaging lines.
• Work with robotic arms, tunnel ovens, solder baths and conformal‑coating processes.
• Execute change‑over activities and adjust equipment for new product types.
• Support production planning activities and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education (IV level) with a focus on electronics or mechatronics.
• At least one year of relevant experience in PCBA or similar environments.
• Good problem‑solving abilities, responsibility and teamwork orientation.
• Basic proficiency in English and MS Office.

Required skills

• Oscilloscope operation.
• Multimeter usage.
• Signal generator handling.
• Knowledge of automated PCBA processes (laser engraving, solder‑paste dispensing, inspection, SMT/THT placement).
• Experience with conveyor systems, robotic arms, tunnel ovens, solder baths and conformal‑coating equipment.
