Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

DS Smith, a global leader in corrugated packaging, is looking for a seasoned Warehouse Supervisor to support its production site in Kruševac. The role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, accurate inventory control, and timely delivery of goods in line with production and sales plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise daily warehouse operations for raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of cardboard, raw materials and finished boxes in coordination with production and procurement.
• Oversee goods receiving, proper storage and labeling by type, dimensions and order.
• Coordinate preparation and dispatch of finished products according to delivery schedules and sales requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement using ERP or WMS systems.
• Manage and allocate warehouse staff, monitor performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain order, cleanliness and optimal use of warehouse space.
• Collaborate with logistics and transport teams to plan shipments and optimise delivery costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock levels, turnover and efficiency.
• Participate in inventory planning and propose measures to reduce surplus and waste.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education, preferably in Logistics, Management or Economics.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of materials and production processes in cardboard packaging (advantage).
• Computer literacy and experience with warehouse management software (ERP/WMS).
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
