Web Engineer Internship – Full-Stack Development

About the role

We are looking for a Web Engineer Intern to join the Tools & Portals team within Epic Online Services. You will work on full‑stack features, backend services, cloud infrastructure and AI‑assisted development to help internal teams and external developers access Epic services.

Key responsibilities

• Build full‑stack features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop backend services and APIs with Next.js, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Learn and apply production infrastructure practices including AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write, test, review, and deploy production code alongside experienced engineers.
• Contribute to internal tools and developer‑facing platforms used across Epic Games.

Required profile

• Interest in full‑stack web development and modern engineering technologies.
• Some familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar web technologies through coursework or projects.
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and solve well‑defined engineering problems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and ability to work effectively with guidance.
• Willingness to explore new technologies, seek support when needed, and incorporate feedback.
• Understanding of defined requirements and readiness to ask clarifying questions.
