Accountant – Full-Time (Belgrade)

About the role

CONEO, an international tax advising and auditing firm, is expanding its Belgrade office and seeks a motivated Accountant. You will support a diverse client base by handling full‑cycle accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of incoming and outgoing invoices, cost import and export documentation.
• Control and harmonisation of commodity/material accounts with financial accounting.
• Maintain records of all business transactions and fixed assets.
• Calculate VAT and prepare VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of official financial statements and audits.
• Organise and process outgoing payments and reconcile banking transactions.
• Post and reconcile general ledger accounts with sub‑ledgers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in an accounting department, preferably with international companies.
• BA in Economics or Accounting.
• Well‑organized, punctual, analytical team player with strong customer orientation.

Required skills

• AB Soft (advantageous)
• MS Office, especially Excel
