Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records for Sport Vision’s retail operations across the Balkans. Working from the Belgrade headquarters, the role involves daily accounting tasks, compliance with tax legislation, and preparation of analytical reports to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process and post primary and secondary accounting documents in full compliance with current accounting and tax legislation.
• Maintain systematic accounting records to summarize financial information and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare detailed statements, analytical account reports, and trial balances as requested by management.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of synthetic accounts and verify the accuracy of payments, receipts, and other financial operations.
• Carry out specialized accounting control activities for the company’s retail locations.
• Classify, sort, and archive all accounting information according to legal requirements.
• Act as the point of contact for external accounting agencies, auditors, vendors, and other partners regarding accounting matters.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in accounting.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of tax, social security and accounting regulations.
• Methodical approach to data management and exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (very good).
