Accounting Manager

About the role

KEBE, a leading producer of Greek ceramic building materials with a new production facility in Serbia, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager. The role leads and oversees all accounting operations and supports management with financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, fixed assets and inventory accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax calculations, filings and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Develop, implement and improve accounting procedures, internal controls and reporting systems.
• Support management with financial analysis, cost control and decision-making.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax regulations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Professional accounting certifications are an advantage.
