AI Architect – Hybrid (Novi Sad or Belgrade)

About the role

Synechron is looking for an experienced AI Architect to lead enterprise AI initiatives across large‑scale ecosystems, platforms, and transformation programs. The role is hybrid, based in Novi Sad or Belgrade, and focuses on Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and multi‑agent systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise architecture for AI, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, and multi‑agent ecosystems.
• Establish AI platform strategies, technology roadmaps, architectural standards, and governance frameworks.
• Design scalable, secure, cloud‑native AI solutions on Azure using modern architecture patterns.
• Translate business requirements into solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture decisions, performance optimization, risk mitigation, and production readiness.
• Review solution designs, proofs of concept, integrations, data architectures, and MLOps practices for alignment with enterprise standards.
• Promote AI best practices such as LLM architecture, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, and Responsible AI principles.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and stakeholder discussions while mentoring architects and engineers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, AI Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Software Engineering.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale enterprise technology or transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, multi‑agent systems, and prompt engineering.
• Hands‑on experience building enterprise AI platforms and cloud‑native solutions on Azure.
