Android Developer – Android Automotive OS

About the role

Luxoft is building a dedicated Software House to create next‑generation In‑Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems for autonomous vehicles. We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join an end‑to‑end team focused on Android Automotive OS, delivering high‑quality features that shape the future driving experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with system engineers, product owners, designers, backend teams and QA in an agile, multi‑hundred‑person environment.
• Implement, test and refine new features for our Android Automotive‑based application stack.
• Translate product and UI/UX requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Maintain code health through regular refactoring, optimization and continuous integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Android Developer with shipped applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and Android Architecture Components (Lifecycle, ViewModel, etc.).
• Familiarity with Android Automotive concepts and embedded Linux environments.
