Associate Automation QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Associate Automation QA Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated and AI‑assisted testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Support the implementation of automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify test scenarios suitable for automation and apply AI‑assisted tools for test design and maintenance.
• Analyze test results, investigate automation failures, and document defects clearly.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts, and support CI/CD testing pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation effectiveness while staying up‑to‑date with emerging tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with programming languages Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and version‑control systems (Git or Bitbucket).
• Awareness of AI‑assisted development or testing tools and a strong analytical mindset.
