Associate Director – Site Activation Operations

About the role

The Associate Director will lead Site Activation operations for a designated sub‑region within EMEA, ensuring alignment with senior management priorities and delivering high‑quality clinical trial services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff, including performance appraisal, professional development, and employee relations.
• Direct hiring, selection, and recruitment targets for the region.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives, set goals, and monitor workload, quality, and budget metrics.
• Ensure operational delivery meets predefined targets and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve efficiencies and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or scientific discipline (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of clinical trial experience, including 6 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate teams and manage budgets.

Required skills

• Full knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Budget management and resource planning expertise.
• Understanding of medical terminology.
