Associate Instructional Designer

About the role

Candescent is seeking an Associate Instructional Designer to create engaging training experiences for its software applications. The role focuses on designing instructional content that helps employees and customers master technical processes and systems while supporting the company’s intelligent banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver on‑demand and live virtual training that translates complex software concepts into clear, user‑friendly learning experiences.
• Manage the onboarding program for the Client Care team, delivering live virtual sessions and coordinating with care managers.
• Create webinars on soft‑skill topics essential for Client Care success.
• Design self‑paced courses, videos, job aids, and occasional live webinars; record and edit instructional media.
• Develop assessment tools such as tests to evaluate learner comprehension.
• Apply instructional design methodology—including audience analysis, storyboards, flowcharts, performance objectives, testing strategies, and learning activities.
• Leverage AI tools where appropriate in the design and development process.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts across departments to define content scope.
• Participate in internal reviews, deliver live webinars, and continuously improve training materials.
• Identify opportunities to innovate processes, tools, and training design.
