About the role
Join Cisco's R&D team in Belgrade to develop firmware, SDKs, simulators, and compilers for the Cisco Silicon One™ architecture. You will work alongside global engineering teams to push the limits of networking technology.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and program software components using C++.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and ASIC design teams across Cisco locations.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions, and optimize software.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in software/hardware integration activities.
Required profile
- 3+ years of programming experience with C++.
- Completed BSc/MSc in computer technology or related field.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Required skills
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
- High level of work autonomy and responsibility.
- Good understanding of hardware operation.
- Experience with Makefiles and Linux environments.
