Chief Technology Officer – Mobile App (iOS & Android)

About the role

Arise is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to own and evolve its flagship weight‑loss mobile app. You will start by deepening the existing iOS codebase used by millions and then architect and launch a brand‑new Android version, leveraging AI‑driven development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own, maintain and future‑proof the mature iOS app, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Design and deliver a new Android app from the ground up, establishing its architecture and long‑term roadmap.
• Guarantee cross‑platform consistency and a coherent technical vision across iOS and Android.
• Develop, test and ship new features, integrating monetisation components with measurable impact.
• Use AI agents, LLM‑driven workflows and automated testing as the primary development methodology.
• Anticipate technical risks and proactively design robust solutions.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to refine usability.

Required profile

• Proven track record architecting and shipping production mobile apps, preferably as a senior engineer, lead or technical founder.
• Deep, architect‑level expertise in iOS/Swift with the ability to make structural decisions confidently.
• Demonstrated ability to build a high‑quality Android app in Kotlin from scratch.
• Hands‑on experience delivering software primarily through AI‑driven tools, not just experimentation.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and English communication skills.

Required skills

• iOS development with Swift (architecture, patterns, performance).
• Android development with Kotlin.
• Mobile build and release tooling such as Fastlane.
• AI‑assisted coding workflows (LLM‑driven, agentic tools, automated testing).
• Deep understanding of Apple and Android design principles and best practices.
