Commercial Finance Analyst – EU

About the role

Join the EU&I Commercial Finance team in Belgrade, supporting commercial decisions across Ahold Delhaize’s European markets. You will turn complex financial data into insights that drive performance, track initiative value and ensure a consistent view of commercial finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic actuals reporting and support annual budget and forecast cycles.
• Track commercial benefits, sourcing savings and merchandising value.
• Consolidate and analyse financial and operational data from multiple internal sources.
• Perform actual‑versus‑budget analyses and identify key variance drivers.
• Provide insights into price, volume, mix, margins and cost‑price developments.
• Support external market and commodity price analysis in collaboration with Sourcing Intelligence.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports and self‑service tools.
• Work with EU finance, sourcing, merchandising and IT to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, controlling or business analytics (or strong internship experience).
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and complex formulas.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and confidence presenting financial information.
• Fluent business English and ability to collaborate across European markets.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
