Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager will be the primary point of contact for KRIK’s online readership and individual donors. You will help shape and execute crowdfunding initiatives, analyse results, and support reporting on projects that strengthen the journalistic community in Serbia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily direct communication with KRIK’s online community of readers and donors.
• Participate regularly in the design and implementation of crowdfunding campaigns.
• Analyse existing and emerging crowdfunding methods and recommend improvements.
• Assist in reporting on projects that support the Serbian journalism sector.
• Work from the office and collaborate closely with other editorial team members.

Required profile

• Experience communicating with the public or citizens and strong communication abilities.
• Familiarity with crowdfunding or prior experience running crowdfunding campaigns.
• Interest in planning and coordinating media and socially responsible projects.
• Regular monitoring of KRIK’s activities and the socio‑political situation in Serbia.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Responsible attitude toward deadlines and a willingness to work in a team.
