Contracts and Budget Manager

About the role

The Contracts and Budget Manager oversees clinical trial budgets and leads global negotiation activities. This position serves as the primary liaison between investigative sites, sponsors, and internal teams, ensuring contracts and financial plans are executed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage clinical trial agreements with sites and sponsors.
• Act as the main point of contact for investigative sites and sponsors, tracking completion of all contractual documents.
• Establish project timelines and set/execute goals for teams, monitoring operational and financial performance.
• Develop complex contracting strategies, coordinate investigator grants, and support proposal development.
• Create and maintain contract and budget templates, contracting systems, tools, processes, and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in clinical trial contracting or budgeting.
• Strong negotiating and communication abilities with a willingness to challenge.
• Thorough understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment and drug development process.
• Goal‑oriented self‑starter capable of working independently.
