Corporate Governance Advisory Consultant (ET)

About the role

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking an Extended‑Term Consultant to support its Corporate Governance Advisory Services. The role focuses on coordinating the SME Accelerator across assigned countries, gathering results data, and ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with IFC’s development objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination and rollout of the SME Accelerator, working closely with the global CG Advisory team and local partners.
• Support analysis, develop project documents (concept notes, implementation plans, supervision and completion reports) and monitor project progress.
• Assist client engagement processes, including integrity due diligence, legal agreement drafting, and vendor selection.
• Collect and enter development results and evidence into iPortal and other reporting tools.
• Liaise with finance officers to track spending, revise budgets, and process payments in IBIS.

Required profile

• A degree in Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting/Audit, Environmental or Social Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in corporate governance, preferably in the private sector, consulting firm, or international organization.
• Demonstrated experience working with private‑sector firms or development partners across sectors such as agribusiness, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to communicate ideas clearly.
