Credit Manager – Western Balkans

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead credit risk management across Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia. The role balances risk protection with business growth, working closely with commercial and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement credit policy, ensure compliance with Group Credit KICs.
• Set credit objectives (DSO, overdue %, risk) and monitor performance.
• Assess credit risk, set limits, conduct periodic reviews, and secure receivables.
• Drive cash collection, manage disputes, and negotiate terms with customers.
• Lead Country Credit Committee and provide guidance to sales teams.
• Administer IT tools such as My DSO Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, accounts receivable, risk management or finance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP systems.
