Cybersecurity Officer

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Officer you will support a wide range of security requests across Siemens Energy’s Wind Power division. You will help advance business activities while promoting cybersecurity awareness and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates throughout the organization.
• Provide guidance to non‑senior management and cybersecurity communities on best practices, core processes and strategic initiatives.
• Promote cybersecurity objectives within local communities to raise security awareness.
• Assess the cybersecurity needs of the business and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
• Build, maintain and support communities of Cyber Security Ambassadors.
• Collaborate with Siemens Energy’s Cybersecurity sub‑teams and other business areas to enhance overall security posture.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in enterprise‑level cybersecurity or information technology.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, multinational teams.
• Strong personal initiative with a results‑driven mindset.
• Fluent business English and proficiency in local languages.
• Demonstrated capability to oversee compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
