Data Associate – Biometric Data Collection

About the role

Daon is seeking a part‑time Data Associate to support biometric and document data collection projects that feed AI algorithms for identity authentication. The role is ideal for senior‑year technical students who want hands‑on experience in a cutting‑edge security environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage biometric data collection initiatives for algorithm development.
• Collect, label, and validate biometric and document data for testing and analysis.
• Capture and analyse biometric attack data to improve security protocols.
• Write Python scripts to automate data file manipulation tasks.
• Collaborate with Research Scientists on face, voice, and document processing data.
• Help maintain quality standards and data integrity for datasets.

Required profile

• Senior‑year student in Computer Science, Data Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to data quality.
• Interest in AI concepts such as machine learning, computer vision, and NLP.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python scripting.
