Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

About the role

Apply machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision techniques to identity document analysis, authentication, and fraud detection. Design and implement algorithms for digital onboarding and identity authentication solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement document‑based algorithms for digital onboarding and identity authentication.
• Create solutions to authenticate identity documents, detect tampering, and prevent fraud.
• Develop processing algorithms using foundation models, traditional ML, image processing, and adapt to cloud, server, and mobile deployment.
• Prototype proofs‑of‑concept and evolve them into production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to deploy and maintain algorithms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, mathematics or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and within an international team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Python programming (research and application development).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and foundation models.
• Traditional machine learning and computer vision techniques.
• Image processing libraries and toolkits.
• C++ (a plus).
