Design Engineer - Wiper Systems

About the role

Bosch's Pecinci site manufactures and develops wiper systems and wiper blades, and is looking for a Design Engineer. The role covers independent CAD design and coordination of complex machinery, including improvements to machines, equipment and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve CAD/CAM processes and procedures, including design, simulation, databases and use of external resources
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models and provide complete documentation to the user
• Verify that components can be manufactured manually according to user requirements, and define materials and manufacturing processes
• Decide whether parts are made in-house or outsourced depending on workshop capacity, machines and materials
• Implement product variants on new and existing machines and tools, and analyse compatibility with existing equipment
• Further develop the tool shop, cooperate with local suppliers and increase internal machining turnover

Required profile

• Professional qualification level VI-VII
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Advanced PC and MS Office skills

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor / Autodesk Inventor Professional 2020 or CATIA or SolidWorks
• Advanced CAD/CAM skills
