DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (Hybrid, Novi Sad)

About the role

Autodesk is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale the AWS cloud infrastructure behind Flow Studio, its AI‑powered VFX platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate deployments, improve reliability, and support fast delivery of cutting‑edge AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Deploy, manage and monitor microservices‑based applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog.
• Ensure security best practices across cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.
• Continuously improve system reliability, scalability and automation maturity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Understanding of networking, security and cloud‑architecture best practices.
