DevOps Engineer

About the role

Synechron is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for business‑critical applications. You will work in a hybrid model from Novi Sad or Belgrade, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions and related tools.
• Build, maintain and optimise Kubernetes environments for internal platforms and client‑facing applications.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automate tasks using Bash and Python.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security and performance.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of production incidents and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and cloud‑native architecture.
• Advanced Terraform expertise and extensive Kubernetes deployment experience.
• Proficiency in Docker, Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python, plus experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools.
