About the role

Apt Resources seeks an experienced Restaurant Captain to lead front‑of‑house operations at a modern Western restaurant in Belgrade. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting menu development and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead dining service, ensuring smooth and enjoyable guest experiences.
• Train, mentor and supervise front‑of‑house staff, modelling high service standards.
• Assist in crafting and updating the menu with seasonal and trendy items.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements and inventory related to service operations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, accurate service and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain or similar role in trendy Western/European establishments.
• Strong leadership, team‑building and customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handling stressful situations.
• Effective communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
