Facilities Manager – Maternity Cover (Belgrade)

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to cover a maternity leave in Belgrade. The role involves leading a team that oversees daily building operations, maintenance, and vendor management for a portfolio of small‑to‑medium sized facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and evaluate facility staff, ensuring training and development.
• Schedule daily activities, assign tasks, and manage cross‑training.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve outstanding facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports.
• Conduct inspections and quality‑assurance checks to meet regulatory compliance.
• Identify operational efficiencies, upgrades and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Oversee environmental health and safety procedures and vendor invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of facility operations experience, including soft‑service management.
• Proven people‑management experience: hiring, performance reviews and coaching.
• Experience monitoring service delivery, KPIs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Fluent in Serbian and English.
• Client‑focused attitude with strong communication and leadership skills.
