Finance & Production Controller

About the role

The Finance & Production Controller will ensure financial transparency and operational excellence within PWO Group's manufacturing environment. You will support strategic decision‑making by providing accurate cost information, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare target and actual cost calculations, perform variance analysis and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Maintain reference parameters, overhead rates and costing structures for plant and SG&A.
• Manage cost‑center and cost‑object accounting, support departmental budget preparation and review.
• Monitor operating revenues, expenses, capitalization and depreciation activities.
• Prepare annual forecasts, ad‑hoc business projections and monthly management reports.
• Evaluate investments through cost‑benefit and pay‑back analyses.
• Collaborate with department managers, auditors and other stakeholders on controlling matters.
• Analyse production order variances (material, labour, overhead, scrap, efficiency) and ensure accurate cost postings.
• Participate in annual inventory counts and stock‑taking activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking or a related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial controlling.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience with SAP (preferred) and Cognos (advantage).
• Good command of English (B2/C1 level preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
